Tau was simply an evolution of Tau Pallucco, but more dedicated to illuminating than ambient lighting. It was devised for working on the computer because it can be moved and as a reading lamp or bedside table lamp.

Tau consists of a set of two prisms in square section, where the shade is set totally within the shaft, unfurling in four steps until it is totally vertical.

The difficult part was to solve the cable: We needed to make it reach to the lamp without it becoming tied up. The solution was a flat parallel cable which disappeared completely.
