Bad Lamp

This lamp is comprised of a small light bulb inserted in a badminton. It is very practical in situations which require a subtle source of light. Evocative of a Marcel Duchamp “Ready-made”, the Bad Lamp turns out to be an amusing, economical and efficient object. “It all started when we bought a badminton game to play at our studio during times of stress. Surprised by the lightness of the badminton and following our usual instinct of putting light bulbs everywhere it simply turned into a lamp”, says Antoni Arola. It’s long electrical cord allows variable installation possibilities whether it should be for practicality or simply for pleasure.
